Mr. Boothe was a lifelong resident of Durham County and was educated in the former Durham County schools. Before retiring in 1986, he was employed by American Tobacco Co.

for 38 years. At the time of his retirement, he was a machine adjuster. Mr. Boothe was a member of Northern Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m.
