Raegan Revord (born January 3, 2008) is an American actress best known for her role as Missy Cooper on the hit CBS series "Young Sheldon." She made her acting debut in 2015 with the TV series "W/Bob and David." In addition to her role in "Young Sheldon," Revord has had recurring roles on shows such as "Modern Family" (as Megan), "Alexa & Katie," and "Grace and Frankie." She made her film debut in the 2017 horror movie "Wish Upon," playing a young version of the main character.
Beyond acting, she is also an avid writer, animal advocate, and community volunteer.

Early life
Revord was born on January 3, 2008 in San Diego, California.[1][2] Revord's family moved to Los Angeles when she was three and a half years old.[3] She is an only child.[4] Revord and her family moved to Los Angeles. Revord is "vegan-ish".[1] In her free time, she's engaged in charity as ambassador for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. As of 2019, her parents managed her social accounts.[1]
Career
She started acting at age six, and debuted on screen with the short film Tortoise (disambiguation)#Film and television, featuring David Arquette. Before appearing on television, Reagan appeared in various print commercials,[1][4] modeling by the age of four[5], and later appeared in television commercials.[5] In 2014 she appeared Modern Family[6] as "Megan"[7] in the sixth season episode "Won't You Be Our Neighbor".[8] In 2016, she reprised that character (as a non-speaking role) in the Modern Family (season 7)"The Storm".[9][10]
She appeared on the Netflix series Grace and Frankie and as Bob Odenkirk’s daughter on With Bob & David. She had a recurring role on TV Land's series Teachers (TV Land TV series).[1]
Raegan booked numerous commercials, including one with Joel McHale for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.[11][12]
In March 2017, Revord was cast as Missy Cooper, Sheldon Cooper twin sister in The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon.[13] Her character has been described as adding a "much-needed spunk to the plot but also serves as the perfect foil to her academically-gifted twin brother, Sheldon."[14] Revord picked up her Texan accent by watching Laurie Metcalf play an older version of her character's mother on The Big Bang Theory.[15]
In 2019 she made an appearance in episode 3 of Netflix original drama Alexa and Katie as "Ainsley". She did voice work for the WBUR Circle Round radio play Nilsa and the Troll.[16]
In addition to her acting career, Revord is an avid reader and writer. Revord is currently working on her debut young adult novel, "Rules for Fake Girlfriends," which will be published by Wednesday Books in 2025. She has written a children’s book titled "My Story as a Gold Nugget."
In 2022, she launched her book club, "Read with Raegan," an online space for young adults to discuss books, hear author interviews, and connect with other readers, garnering over 55,000 followers on Instagram.
